Led by our father's wisdom and brothers Joel and Alvin Shireman's passion for aquaculture and fishing, in 1984 the family established Shongaloo Fisheries, Inc., (named after our mother's birthplace, Shongaloo, LA) providing quality stocking fish throughout Florida and across the Southeast. We eventually sold this part of the business and maintained a modest fishout. We now provide the same quality service, expertise and "the finest fingerlings in Florida" from this Shireman Fishery.
